Grow a stronger community with CEAP: support your neighbors during the COVID-19 virus
The presence and spread of COVID-19 has introduced an additional challenge for our neighbors and for CEAP. This pandemic has led CEAP to pivot our strategy and find new, safe ways to do what we do best: provide assistance to our neighbors in an emergency.
CEAP will continue to serve our neighbors the same amount of meals, visits and pounds; but we will be shifting our distribution approach to limit exposure. Our food market will be going curbside by providing CEAP Essentials, a pre-packed collection of fresh food and shelf-stable items that will provide up to two weeks of food for a family of four.
Our Meals on Wheels program will be deploying frozen meals to our neighbors through a 2-week distribution delivery method with continued daily check-ins via phone from our Meals on Wheels Coordinator.
CEAP is doing everything we can to prepare for all scenarios, but we desperately need the help of our community to make this possible. CEAP’s ability to adjust nimbly and meet the needs of your neighbors in the face of this emergency is dependent on the financial support we receive.
Tax-deductible financial contributions can be made online via credit card below or by mailing a check, made out to CEAP and mailed to 7051 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429.
