Volunteer Opportunities at CEAP
CEAP continues to rely on a core base of volunteers who give their time on a weekly or monthly basis through our daily programs and services.
Give your time to CEAP and make an impact in your community!
There are a number of opportunities to volunteer, including sorting food rescue, providing curbside grocery service to neighbors, driving for Meals on Wheels, helping in our Thrift Store and more. If you are interested in volunteering at CEAP, check out our current volunteer opportunities below:
Food Market:
Pack Groceries!
As a “Pantry Partner,” you’ll spend time filling orders for participants and restocking our Food Market shelves! This immersive experience allows you to see CEAP’s impact firsthand by providing high quality, nutritious groceries to our neighbors!
Pantry Partner Shift Times:
- 9:30am – 11:30am
- 11:30am – 1:30pm
- 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Connect with the Community!
A community-facing position, Curbside Connectors work directly with our participants to ensure they receive their order with dignity and respect. You’ll kindly greet participants, check them in using our computer software, and transport their food orders from the Food Market to their cars!
Curbside Connector Shift Times:
- 9:30am – 11:30am
- 11:30am – 1:30pm
- 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Stock and Sort Food!
Our “Warehouse Wonders” have the important job of ensuring our pantry stays stocked for our participants. During your shift, you’ll sort through produce, dry goods, and other donated food items! This volunteer opportunity may involve some moderate lifting and standing for extended periods of time.
Warehouse Wonder Shift Times:
- 8:00am – 10:00am
- 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Meals on Wheels:
Driving: Monday-Friday 10:30am to about 12:00pm (must have a valid driver's license and provide your own vehicle)
Meal Packing: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 10:30am and Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 12:30pm-2:00pm.
Turning Leaf Thrift Store:
Sorters, Stockers, Cashiers: Monday-Friday 10:00am-1:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accommodate community service and education service hours requirements. This change was implemented during COVID-19 and court- or school-mandated service hour requirements cannot be completed at CEAP.
