March is your opportunity to come together as a congregation, as colleagues, and as neighbors to support your local food shelf. From March 1-April 6, Minnesota FoodShare provides a proportional match for every pound of food or dollar donated to CEAP as part of the March FoodShare campaign.
Right now, too many of our neighbors have had to make the impossible choice between putting food on their tables and their safety -- a choice no one should have to make. It’s times like these that we all need to come together as a community to support one another. The CEAP Community Challenge is our collective impact in action. CEAP was founded by neighbors helping neighbors and continues to propel our community forward in better help. Join us!
Make a monetary donation
Making a financial gift to CEAP is the simplest way to make the biggest impact for our community! Your gift made during the CEAP Community Challenge can be matched in two ways – by our generous sponsors and through the proportional match from the Minnesota FoodShare! That means your gift can have an even greater impact when you give in March. Plus, CEAP can stretch your dollar even further – procuring food for less than what it costs at a grocery store. Because we purchase food from our food bank partners, just $47 can provide essential groceries for a family of four for one week.
Host a food or fund drive
Stock CEAP’s shelves by hosting a food drive or a fund drive! Minnesota FoodShare is providing a match for every dollar and pound of food donated to CEAP during the CEAP Community Challenge, so now is the time to bring your team together by collecting food or fund donations for CEAP. We’ll provide a communication toolkit for social media posts, signs, or emails to help you promote your drive!
Join us at our annual Fish Fry Event on Friday, March 27!
Support your community and enjoy a night out with your family and friends. We partner with the Osseo Maple Grove American Legion to host us for the evening where we all enjoy a delicious meal while being surrounded by community – with proceeds going to support the CEAP Community Challenge. Tickets are available at the door on the night of the event. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!
