CEAP offers select group volunteer opportunities for teams, workplaces, faith communities, clubs, families, and other groups looking to make a meaningful impact together. Read on to learn more about our different offerings.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule a group volunteer session, contact Whitney Kavanagh at whitney.kavanagh@ceap.com.
Food Market
Groups of 4-8 can sign up to volunteer in our Food Market. Depending on the size of your group, you'll take on a variety of role from sorting food and restocking shelves, to packing food orders, greeting participants, and transporting their food orders from the Food Market to their cars.
Kit Making
CEAP offers a variety of opportunities where your team can build the following kits for our neighbors: Birthday bags, Snack Packs, New Parent Packages, Hygiene Kits, and more. We'll supply you with the instructions for the kit you select. Kits can be made on-site at CEAP or off-site and delivered when completed!
Seasonal Programs
CEAP hosts seasonal programs - including our food sorting in April and November, our Back-to-School backpack distribution in August, and our Toys for Joy holiday toy distribution in December - that require the hands of a number of volunteers to make possible. These programs are great opportunities for groups to get involved and give back!
Have a large group?
Let us know! We would be happy to talk through your group size, goals, and availability to see if we can plan a meaningful volunteer opportunity for you.
