At CEAP, It's The Season of Showing Up for Our Neighbors

November Update From CEAP:

Big things happen when a community comes together! At CEAP, we see that generosity in action every day.

As more neighbors turn to CEAP for support, our community continues to show up in meaningful ways. From celebrating the progress we've made together to participating in Give to the Max Day and Season of Sharing, November is full of opportunities to make an impact. Here's what's happening at CEAP and how you can help us keep building a bigger table!

What’s Happening at CEAP:

Food Market Takeovers ARE BACK!

Every Friday this holiday season (excluding Nov. 27), CEAP will offer two Food Market Takeover shifts for groups of 6–8 people. Teams will spend an afternoon alongside CEAP staff, helping pack grocery orders, restock shelves and produce, assemble bakery orders, and deliver groceries to neighbors' cars. Each shift also includes a team debrief to share experiences and reflect on the difference made.

Last year, more than 700 volunteers helped CEAP share over 2 million pounds of food with our neighbors. Food Market Takeovers give teams an inside look at how the Food Market operates and the many hands that come together to nourish our community

Holiday Drives Are in Full Swing!

Our community is showing up this year! Food, fund, and toy drives are in full swing, and we could not be more grateful to our neighbors who have stepped up to support their community. From organizing workplace collections to gathering friends and family for a drive, there are so many ways to get involved. Together, these efforts help keep our shelves stocked and ensure more neighbors have the support they need.

There's still room for more! We're always looking for businesses, schools, workplaces, congregations, and community groups interested in hosting a drive. CEAP makes it easy to get started with a communications kit full of ready-to-use materials and support coordinating your drive along the way.

GTMD is November 19th!

In 2025, there were 9 million food shelf visits in Minnesota alone. As the need increases and costs rise, community generosity is more important than ever. We’re working towards our $85,000 goal, and thanks to $14,250 in matching gifts, your donation can go even further.

Help us meet the growing need. Make your gift by midnight on November 19th and help us build a bigger table for our neighbors.

Do you ever wonder how your donation can make an even bigger impact?

Through strategic bulk purchasing, strong community partnerships, and food rescue efforts, CEAP can stretch donations to provide even more food and resources to our neighbors. Your generosity goes beyond a single grocery bag, helping us maximize every dollar and reach more families.

For example, $47.09 can provide a family of four with a week's worth of pantry staples and fresh food, while $250 can provide five pallets of fresh produce!

When you give to CEAP, your impact goes further.

Does Your Employer Offer More Ways to Give?

You may have more ways to support CEAP than you think! Your workplace may offer opportunities to make your support for CEAP go even further! Many employers provide donation matching programs, paid volunteer hours, or volunteer grants that turn your time and generosity into even more community impact.

Check with your employer to see what's available and how you can put those benefits to work for your neighbors!
