A girl has her face painted as she participates in the "End Hunger: Walk the World" in ManilaMarch Against Hunger & Host a Drive!

Thank you for supporting your neighbors in need by hosting a fund drive for CEAP. Below are some tips for organizing and hosting your drive.  We hope they make supporting those in need as easy & fun as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns about hosting a drive, please contact Rachel Hickok, Director of Development at 763-450-3664.

  • Set start and end dates for your drive that work best for you and your organization, family or group.

  • Create an attainable goal for your drive. Do you want to raise $1,000?  300 pounds of food? How about a goal of 100% participation?

  • Encourage friends to donate online. Direct them to www.ceap.org/donate to make a financial contribution.

  • Publicize your drive. Post the event description and dates on your website, social media, and newsletters.  Then follow up!  Let your audience know your progress towards your goal.

  • Draw attention to your drive with a unique collection container. Wagons, brightly colored boxes, or even filling a vehicle can bring added attention to your drive.

  • Create some friendly competition. In the end, everyone wins! Divide into teams for added interest. Who can get the most cans in a week? The most pounds? Challenge a group similar to yours to compete with you and make the top spot a fun reward! Pizza party anyone?

  • Have fun! Celebrate your efforts to help those in need in our community.
