March is a crazy time at CEAP.  It is our largest donation month.  The donations we receive in March will fill our shelves until this summer.  And the match we receive from Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign allows us to buy an additional 2 months worth of food.  

For the second year, CEAP is capping off the month with our Feed the Need event where staff and volunteers will be at five grocer locations asking for additional donations. As my third time participating in Feed the Need, (CEAP had another Feed the Need event in October to stock our shelves before the holidays) I’m super excited for Saturday, March 28th.   It is so fun to be out in the community, hearing the great stories of giving and kindness and educating others about CEAP.

 CEAP works to help families, in all life stages, gain financial stability and maximize their ability to live independently and with dignity.  During the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign, a portion of every dollar and pound raised by CEAP is matched by Minnesota FoodShare and the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches.
