No Barriers Youth Food Shelf
A new food shelf for homeless youth has opened in Brooklyn Center! The food shelf, housed in Brooklyn United
Methodist Church, will be staffed by Point Northwest, with food provided by CEAP.
This “no barriers” food shelf will welcome children ages 12 to 21, and comes at a time when homelessness is at it’s highest. Over 279 children in our community hop from couch to couch every night, relying on the generosity of friends and extend family for food and shelter.
The food shelf will is located at:
Brooklyn United Methodist Church
7200 Brooklyn Blvd
Brooklyn Center, MN 55429
763-561-1684
Open Wednesdays from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
