Farm Fresh Fest brings together community members!

We’re excited to announce that CEAP’s popular Farm Fresh Fest will be back for a second year!

Farm Fresh Fest is a celebration of our community and an opportunity for hundreds of local families to enjoy fresh, in-season produce in a warm, inviting festival atmosphere. The event includes produce stands, grilled treats, food samples, recipes, health and wellness education, games, and connections to community resources and businesses. Here are just a few of this year’s community partners and supporters (not all partners will attend every date):

  • Cub Foods (Colorado Ave and Broadway Ave locations in Brooklyn Park, Cub Brookdale in Brooklyn Center)
  • Brooklyn Park Police Department
  • Hy-Vee
  • Brooklyn Center Fire Department
  • UMN Extension Services
  • The Shoe Bus
  • University of Minnesota’s Goldy the Gopher
  • Snapology
  • …and more!

The program kicks off July 21st and occurs every other Friday through the end of October. We’re looking for sponsors and volunteer groups to help make this event a success. If you would like more information on hosting a booth at Farm Fresh Fest or becoming a sponsor, please contact Rachel Hickok at 763-450-3664. For volunteer opportunities, complete a volunteer application, or contact Kirsten Blyth at 763-450-3679.

A special thanks to RBC Wealth Management for making this event possible through their generous support of CEAP!
