Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)
EFNEP is a cooking and nutrition course CEAP hosts from the University of Minnesota Extension. A Community Nutrition Educator leads a series of classes geared towards parents with children. The class provides hands-on, learn-by-doing approaches that allow participants to gain the practical skills necessary to make positive behavior changes. This class is offered in English and Spanish.

Week 3: Lesson – Eat a rainbow of fruits and vegetables and incorporate them in every meal.

Week 4: Lesson – How much sodium we should be eating and hidden sources.
